A BABY WAS BORN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD OVER THREE MONTHS AGO AND SOON WE WILL HAVE STAMPS ABOUT IT!!!
THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!
I’VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE TO FIND A MEANINGLESS SOUVENIR OF THE BIRTH OF A MINOR FIGURE IN AN IRRELEVANT INSTITUTION TO REMIND ME THAT AUSTRALIANS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO RULE THEMSELVES IN THE 21ST CENTURY AND NOW AUSTRALIA POST HAS COME TO MY AID!!
CAN’T WRITE ANY MORE NOW I HAVE TO CAMP OUT THE FRONT OF THE POST OFFICE WAITING FOR TUESDAY WHEN THESE STAMPS GO ON SALE BECAUSE I AM A DULL MINION WHO CANNOT FATHOM A BETTER LIFE THAN THAT OF A MODERN-DAY SERF!!!

Well… I love this issue too! It comes a close second to the Royal Wedding Stamp (Kate & Will) – of the Royal Stamps that is..
I really loved the redback stamp overall (Dangerous Australia Issue) – the one that was only included in the minisheet back in the day.

I loved that redback spider stamp too. I read it wasn’t issued on a proper stamp because it looked too much like a real redback and they didn’t want people trying to kill their mail.

I’m sure I read that someplace too! That issue helped me kick start my collection. I brought the stamp pack because I thought it was beautifully designed.
